Social Bookmarking, Tit for Tat?

An old English motto proverbs says " Tit for tat". It simply means that you will get as much as what you've given to others. Some of you might think now "What is the relation between SEO activities ?". I would recall my NgaduTrafik 2007 article on this matter.

Keep in mind that SEO activities is also a social networking activities. Where do you think link building comes from ? Let's see what NgaduTrafik has compiled for you.

No External Links, No Trust
I have a friend who built website with exactly no external links in his website. "Why should I ? Mine is just enough ! ". Yes, you're damn right. But in terms of SEO, no external links means that you don't trust and connected to any website, then how the web spider trust you ? Of course external links that will counts to your web rankings is a legitimate and quality links.

No External Links, No Connection
No external links will make the web spider thinks that you have no connection to similar or 'themed' websites. Don't expect to much then if you rank worst in this case.

Social Boomarking Needs Personal Touch
Leave your automated script that does the poster. Doing a social bookmarking plan needs personal touch. It's better you make 5 posting of social bookmarking with personal touch and linked items, rather than 100 automated posting and you don't know what you're linking to.

So, for NgaduTrafik conclusions : still believe in Tit for Tat ?
