2)Pay per click. If you want insane amounts of traffic in record time, PPC is the way to go. Go to Overture, google, 7search, and some other pay per click engines and sign up with them. When creating a campaign try to think outside the box, don't use the most common words or they will end up costing you in the end.

3)Paid Directories. Although these usually will not bring you traffic immediately they do help out tremendously in the long run. If you can get listed in a site like dmoz ( one of the most popular directories) That will surely bring you in a small amount of traffic. If you do this with hundreds of directories you will be in good shape.

As you can see there are various ways you can bring traffic to your website, some of it costs money, some of it is free. Do your best to make informed decisions with whatever method you do to bring traffic to your website.
